Established in 1968, the Ona-Lac Canoe Club (OLCC) has been around over 50 years!

The OLCC is not-for-profit corporation, comprised of members of the community, and managed by an elected board of Directors. Essentially, the OLCC is member-ran. Through an agreement with Glencore, we have leased a large piece of property on Windy Lake, where we have established a wonderful place for the community to have affordable access to paddle sports in a private and peaceful nature setting. The OLCC’s mandate is to promote non-motorised boating and related activities. In the beautiful Northern Ontario, that includes everything from hiking and bird-watching, to taking a sauna and jumping off a dock for a swim! We are thankful to Glencore for helping us with this endeavour, and especially thankful to the community members for supporting us all these years!
